Sorry if this has been asked before, but I am stumped, I have an Acer Ferrari, and I can't get the scroll button to work. I should qualify It works fine in some applications (for example MS word) but in FireFox and IE all it does when I try to scroll up or down is change my cursor to what I can best describe as a scroll bar with a mouse on it. I find this very irritating as web surffing is one place that I would really like to be able to scroll!

I thought maybe it had something to do with FireFox but since the problem happens in IE that is not the case. I also tried change setting in the Synaptics software, but I couldn't find any that fixed the problem and since it works in MS word I can't help thinking that that is not the problem.....

I love this laptop so I really hope someone can help me out with this issue!

I have the same difficulty, although it does scroll in IE, but not FF.. Since I never use IE this is a problem!

Hope someone has some idea what this might be..

I've got the synaptics 7.12.13 drivers but I'm still unable to scroll in FF 1.07.

Is there anything else you had to do to get it to work? It does work in IE.
