This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Factory phoenix Bios V1.19 or V1.17 for Aspire 7004wsmi

    Hi
    I have an old Aspire 7004wsmi (oldies but goodies), till now it worked well with original factory Phoenix Bios 1.17 or 1.19 ( I didn't remenber the right one) I had stupid idea to update the Bios with the last version available v1.20 on Acer Website. My Notebook doesn't restart anymore with this bios version It is sticked with a black window. This notebook is equiped with Ram 4Go and it seems the Bios V1.20 doesn't support Ram over 2 Go. When I remove 2go It restarts without problem.
    I would like to get back to the previous Bios to use again Ram 4Go.
    I did not keep the original factory Bios 1.17 or 1.19 so I am looking for to get it as it is not available anymore on Acer website. I led some reseach on the web but with no success.
    Thanks in advance if somebody could give it to me.
