    Just did a memory upgrade and whoopy things have changed.
    graphics has gone from 128mb to 224mb HOW ?
    never touched the Bios or msconfig.
    i only use my laptop for mp3's DVD's and the net so do i need 224mb ?

    and trying to find out what DVMT is in english :(

    DVMT does sound nasty

    Dynamic video memory. The more memory you have; the more memory video memory uses. The BIOS determines it by how much memory you have; and is not adjustable. You may try updating your BIOS to the latest revision.

    did update of BIOS and i can now turn it down to 124mb.no real noticeable change.DVD still run ok with no lag or jumping.
