    Dont Know How To Record With My Acer Camera!!!

    I just bought an Acer Extensa 4620 today and i dont know how to record with the Crystal Eye webcam. I used it on yahoo messenger as a live cam, but i dont know how to capture video. It will only let me take still pics. I heard that you could dp it through windows movie maker.... but i cant figure it out. PLEASE HELP!!! :confused:

    This is the same problem i am having with my 7110. As far as movie maker there is a video capture function under file but for vista I am in the same boat as you. My camera on my 7110 is a bison.

    If you have Acer Arcade, you can record the video with that. Go to DV wizard.
    There is another Acer bundled software that can record from webcam, but I forgot what that it.

    Nope, I searched my whole computerk, and I have nothing that will let me record. Is there nething that I can download?

    im looking for free software now :)

    ut i use the movie maker in windows xp pro.
    in box one "capture from video device" i just used the wizard and told it to use the orbicam.then it ask you what mic you want to use, i used the internal mic,
    it then gives you the edit functions.
    im sorry i don't know how or where you would do this in vista :(
