CrystalBrite- just a shiny, glossy LCD cover?

I posted this in the 'Aspire 3003 review' thread but I thought I'd start a seperate thread about this inquiry.

Just ordered a 3004LCi with a 15.4" screen. I know the 3004 WLCi has 'CrystalBrite' but is CrystalBrite anything more than just a shiny cover on the LCD display?

Also, is the only difference with 3004LCi (vs the 3004 WLCi version) the lack of CrystalBrite? I will still be getting a 16:10 aspect ratio screen right?

BTW, I ordered this laptop quickly because my thinkpad broke a few days ago (and in a country where there's no IBM technicians) and needed something inexpensive and quickly (I'm a student).

More than just glossy, I have the standard and the glossy one. The glossy one is clearer, sharper and colours are better.
