I've had an Acer 8935g for just under a year and one of the two hard drives is starting to fail.
I've contacted Acer and I'm waiting for a reply, but I'm assuming they will ask me to send the failing hard drive and they will replace it.
How do I remove a hard drive from this notepad?
    Thanks.

    Couple of thoughts.
Be sure you know which HDD is defective. Primary one in the centre I think. Hopefully they used two drives with different enough model numbers to be sure . .

Second thought. Take care removing the drives . . think you pull the drive back from the connector using the tab before lifting out with the tab . . take it easy and remember the process for the replacement

Last thought . . have you burnt the recovery disks if you need these to restore?

With your new disk(s) consider the disk swap strategy in my 'new acer' guide to avoid having to send your personal information away again . . I personally value data privacy /security above one or two HDD's so my only interest in the original HDD('s) is being able to send them back in vanilla condition with non HDD related Warranty work
