This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi,

    Any one got any ideas why inserting a Cardbus II 1394 firewire card disables the wireless functionality on an Acer 5633 WLMi laptop.., running Vista..

    Only way to get internet/wi-fi is to eject card and reboot..
