    Cant get into BIOS (8204)

    I press the power button, then the huge white Acer/Phoenix screen comes up and it says "press f2 to enter bios" or something of that sort... so i hit it but it still takes me to the Platinum Secret password thing and asks to enter the password with a "dos-like" background... never takes me into bios itself. why??? and how do i do it??? plz help. :eek:

    Have you tried putting in whatever password you set? I've not used Platinum Secret so don't really know anything much about it.

    Without using Platinum Secret mine works just fine for entering BIOS.

    Ok, nevermind. I flashed BIOS and everything is back to where its supposed to be. Except for the trackpad... its still dead.
