    Hello, my first post here.
Just bought a new Acer Aspire 7741Z, 3 days ago.
OS is Win 7 Home Premium
I used to have Vista for 4 years. That computer went kaput.
I am relatively profficient with computer.
When I had Vista I used to do narrating using MS PowerPoint.
Other times I would use Audacity or the built-in Sound Recorder.
I never had any issues recording my own voice.

Now, with this Win 7, I am not able to record my own voice.
I can play music, download music from websites and play them, but I cannot record my own voice, not PowerPoint, Audacity or Sound Recorder.

Wonder if someone can steer me to the solution.
    Thank you.
