The one reviewer there states it runs well with Windows 7. Being only 1 gig I'd stick with the 32 bit version. HP or Profesional I think both only require 1 gig but check to be sure.

i suggest you download this Microsoft win 7 compatibility test:
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...90-7659-4BD9-9E51-2497C146AF15&displaylang=en

"Download and run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to see if your PC is ready for Windows 7. It scans your hardware, devices, and installed programs for known compatibility issues, gives you guidance on how to resolve potential issues found, and recommends what to do before you upgrade."

    cheers

It'll run fine (based on personal experience--although with 2GB of RAM). Win & will probably shorten battery lfe compared with XP.

Vista and 7 typically offer BETTER battery life over XP especially with netbooks. Although XP runs much more fluid with 1GB RAM than Vista or 7. Either way I'd recommend you get minimum 2GB RAM (preferably 3 or 4GB) if you can swing it.

I got the older model ( D150 ) and i`ve upgraded my RAM to 2gig.
Windows 7 runs very smoothly with no trouble whatsoever.

My WEI is around 2.2 if i remember correctly.
No problems , just go for it :)
