I was just wondering, is there a way to manually configure the speed of the CPU fan? I have Aspire 7720G and there's no such option in the BIOS, is there a software to do this?

    download SpeedFan here

It detects all your fans and temp sensors, lets you graph it and such. Only controls speeds on machines that have that feature. but best utility for that purpose.
