I have the Acer 5680-6798 laptop. So Vista was downloading some updates. Finished. Restarted the computer. Started up. Di the whole config update thing and then it restarted again. Now this time it's saying BootMGR is missing. WTF is going on here. I've been having nothing but problems with this thing. The performance on this thing is very poor. Like, it takes it sweet time to load anything. Like I did that PI thing and it was over an hour. My single core Sempron don't even take that long. Maybe it's Vista cause I have never had this many problems with a computer. Like my Sempron loads things faster then my laptop. The only problem with this one is, I have a crappy video card in it and it's hard to find AGP video cards these days. And no I will not go to Ebay. And my Sempron has XP on it. Hmmm, maybe I should put XP on this laptop. Hopefully it will make all these problems go away. But all I gotta say is, Vista is crap. I just hope it's Vista thats screwing everything up. Cause if this thing had XP on it, I think it would be pretty sweet. And then here's a good example for this thing. I did Mark05 and Mark06. My laptop just barely past 1500 on 05 and then 700 on 06. Then my Sempron system, 2500 on 05 and then around 1200 on 06. Is it Vista thats doing this or is there something really wrong with my laptop?

Acually I was thinking, what would be the best Linux OS be? As I was looking at Mandriva and it looked pretty interesting. Maybe i'll go that route.
