Where is the best place to buy a Ferrari 4005WMLi?

I want it to be possibly a smaller retailer that has some experience in whitebox laptops because I want to ask them if they can possibly upgrade the processor from the Turion ML-37 to a Turion MT-37 or 40. Thanks.

Well, I ordered my Acer from www.zipzoomfly.com - great store, prices, and service, plus they have free shipping on pretty much everything (2nd day!).

I don't know about having them replace the processor....don't think they will do that...

Are you really sure you need the upgraded processor? There isn't that much of a difference betweent the -37 and the -40.

Most likey they will NOT upgrade it, because it won't be worth their time.

Plus, if they do somehow damage something, they can't return it, and you sure won't buy it....

ZZF is a fine store, but if you buy there, there will likely be no returns.

I ordered my ferrari-laptop a day back from buy.com. got it at 2058$ after a 15$ rebate. It's about 8$ more compared to the ZZF. Also got free shipping from buy.com.
Bought it as i was not familiar with ZZF. Also buy.com seemed a lot more simpler with return policy, and loss during shipping things etc.
Also the shipping was fast, very fast for budget shipping(7-10 days). Ordered it yesterday and I might get it today itself or tomorrow as its already at the nearest fedex center. :D

Wow. can't wait to lay my hands on my ferrari ;)

Not sure though of the small-retailer que.

    Cheers

I'll tell you or anyone going to buy an Acer laptop in Canada the worst place to do it. It is a small chain of small computer stores run by a few asian crooks called IC Computers which is located in Calgary, Alberta. You order stuff with them, they charge you and never send ordered items. Obviously they never answer phone calls. And the worst thing is that Acer Canada management (namely Mr. Dan Engbert responsile for Alberta province) actually doesn't give a s**t about it which means they approve frauds! Nice job, gentlemen. And you strive to be a 3rd notebook selling company in the world by 2006? Hope you change your attitude and customer service completely by then. Or rather you create one...
