Hi, I have been having a lot of problems using external monitors on my older TravelMate C110 (tablet). Whenever I plug something in (or even not) and then press Fn+F5 to switch monitors, I get the BSOD. I have no clue what is causing this, can someone help me?

My first advice would be to start a new thread so that more people will notice your particular problem.

    Regards,
    M.

Wow I asked this over two months ago...I wrote the stop code somewhere but I think I threw it away already :(. I know it was a 0x7F code and while I had the stop code I googled it like you said but didn't find any exact matches. I hear this is a problem often related to RAM but I don't see how that could be as I only get this when trying to switch monitors. Can someone please help?

sounds like a driver or mainboard issue then..... have you tried checking for newer BIOS and drivers at the support.acer-euro.com site??

other than that i'm of no use
