    Aspire problems

    Acer aspire 3000 laptop is locking up and even holding down the power button wont turn it off. I have taken out the battery and reset the cmos by turning the power button on and off and this works for a time then locks up again.I have changed memory., I have also started a fresh install but it freezes half way. Any help appreciated, Dave

    I had a custom computer with a intel pentium 3 with windows 2000 do that. It would lock up when it was starting up i left it sit for two days unpluged and it was fine. your probly going to have to call acer though.
