    Aspire 9802 Memory to 4GB

    Hey all, first post. I have a bit of a problem. I recently bought 2x2GB DDR2 667 SO-DIMM CL5 for my notebook. I installed both modules but only got as far as the windows load page then a blank screen, and nothing. I thought that it might have been a faulty module so did a process of elimination using both the older modules and the new modules but both new modules work properly.

    I have updated to my latest Bios (1.21 released 4/11/07) but still nothing. It's like they can't work together. I understand that the max spec is 4GB (I know it only shows 3074Mb) but it should be able to handle 2x2GB.

    Any thoughts?

    Please let me know as this is pretty baffling.
