    Aspire 7741z almost dead

    This computer is almost dead. No image on screen. but image on external monitor in safe mode. On a normal boot the the image clears just after rhe win 7 logo and I cannot get it back. I can see disk activity. I was able to boot to DOS and run Spinrite, I was able to upgrade bios using a USB bootable flash drive. I was able to copy all my documents to an external drive using safe mode. and in safe mode I was able to do a system recovery, no help.
    Any ideas?
