Hello everyone! My name is Bag, i have an acer aspire 7730G and i seem to have some problems with it. My laptop formerly had an intel T5800 cpu , which i replaced with an Intel T9550, it worked good, but i gave that cpu to my brother (t9550) and i have bought myself an intel core 2 quad q9200. it did not work with the bios version from phoenix V.3636 A_A, so i used a modded bios but the same version, deactivated some things within the advanced control menu but without any change it still didn't work. So i upgraded the bios to 3810, but preserved the options from the former bios, after that it started and worked but reads the quad core as a core 2 duo. When i activate some other options in the bios, to work as a quad core, the notebook turns on but when loading Windows it stays like that forever. Please help me, what can i do? My notebook seems to be compatible with the cpu, but the bios is somehow restricted. Could someone unlock the advanced option in the 3810 bios? please

In other words, OP needs either a Windoze reinstall or do a CPU change again, change the profiles, and put in the new CPU back. I'd opt for the reinstall...
