I have an Acer Aspire 6930G with Vista Home Premium 64 bit operating system. The keyboard and touchpad do not work anymore. I am able to plug in usb mouse and keyboard and use it that way. When I go to:
Device Manager -> Keyboards -> Launch Manager has the caution symbol on it. In the properties it says: "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)".

    For the touchpad...
Device Manager -> Mice and other pointing devices -> Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad ... has the caution symbol on it. In Properties the message is: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".

Anybody have a clue what the deal is with this? I've tried searching for the drivers, found some and installed them with no effect. Tried simply disable/enable, to no avail. I'm basically at the point where I'm about to format the hard drive and try out this new Windows 7. If it comes to that is there a place where I could download the necessary drivers (preferably all at once in a .zip file or something of the like)?

    Thanks,
    Mike
