Bought this, it's great. Just a few questions though.
    • Does the air vent being directed at The LCD do anything to the screen?
    • Does my 6920G come with Bluetooth (look on my profile for my specs)? I have a BT shortcut button on my keyboard but it does nothing, and when I tried to install Acer's BT drivers it doesn't detect any BT hardware.
    • I recently read that nVidia is reporting almost all defectives on its 8 and 9 series GPUs. I have a 9500M GS but I don't see it mentioned anywhere as defective, only 9200, 9400, 9600, 9800. Should I be concerned?
    • My laptop says 5.1 surround out but I see no left, center, and right audio out ports. Would the surround be coming out of my HDMI? If so, does this mean I can't plug 5.1 speakers into my laptop directly without an adapter?
    Thanks!

    Hey Fred!
    - I think the air vent should be fine - heat rises, so I don't think it's being sent towards the screen with enough force to damage it.
    - In order to find out if you've got Bluetooth, we'd need your model number. Should be somewhere on your unit.
    - Not sure; since the 9500M GS is basically the 8600M GT all gussied up, I'm tentatively saying yes. Then again, my 9500M GS hasn't gone above 70 degrees.
    - Actually, if you're using 5.1 output, your headphone, microphone, and line-in jacks become the outputs for your Center/Subwoofer, Front Left/Right, and Rear Left/Right speakers. Not sure which is which, though, so go ahead and test it out. The notebook does output via HDMI, but there should also be a S/PDIF port to use.

my 6920 has an index of 4.4 with graphics giving the lowest score. I also have a 9500m gs. Why the difference?

I dunno - drivers? Background processes? Could be any number of factors.
Besides, the Experience Index is kind of a wishy-washy benchmark. 3DMark06 is the yardstick for newer laptops.
