I installed in my laptop, this processor. He turns and even begins to boot, but then freezes or shows the BSOD, regardless of the system. There is a chance to run this processor on this laptop? I read about successful cases run this CPU on pm45.

    Sorry for my english.

    Welcome to the forums, enthru!
Keep in mind that the PM45 can actually support faster CPUs - if the T8100 continues to not work, look into a T9400 (2.53 GHz) or T9600 (2.8 GHz), or one of the P-series CPUs.

The thing is, the T8100 was designed for use on a 965 Series chipset. I do vaguely remember someone saying they got one to work on a 4 Series chipset, but can't recall whom.

I'd say see if you can get a functional CPU via a trade, or sell the T8100 for cash to swing for a better CPU.
