    Aspire 5732Z Touchpad locked

    Called acer support referred to a private out of warranty support firm who indicate all that is required is an unlock code which they will be happy to provide for 150$. Has anyone run into this scam before? Also does anyone know what the unlock code or sequence?

    You've failed to describe the actual issue- what's going on?
    Don't pay anything though it's either a hardware failure or a software issue but definitely not a code-locked touchpad.
