    How is the screen?

    Also, is there a notebook that offers the same performance but that is not widescreen???

    strangely enough many of the dual core laptops out there are widescreen

    ASUS do a V6000 series that has standard format 15" they do quite a high spec on those

    but for the price if you are not after anything better than an x1400 graphics card, which is good enough for HL2 GTASA and the like then you get a heck of a lot of kit for your money
    2gb Ram on the UK model
    120gb HDD
    just to get those you normally pay a lot more

    the screen is really nice to use
    its very clear, I like the glass screens yes they reflect light behind you, but it doesnt bother me.

    colours are vibrant, and the machine is very fast indeed
