Hi peeps, I've been researching on the internet but I'm not sure what to believe. I'm wondering whether it's possible to somehow upgrade the graphics card currently in my Aspire(Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family). I read that higher-end models of the Aspire 5630 could have a nVidia GeForce Go 7300. I'm just wondering if it's possible to buy one now and somehow install it on my laptop.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance, Ed

    no,,

since your laptop came with the intergrated graphics chip,, the connector for the GeFroce was not installed on the motherboard..

even if you could manage to solder the connector to the mainboard, the onboard graphics will still be the adapter that the MB recognizes...

to get better graphics,,, you'd need to buy a laptop that doesn't have intergrated graphics...

    sorry to burst your bubble
