Hey, I recently bought an Acer Aspire 5612, and am considering trying to add an internal Bluetooth module (as has been done on this forum with other laptop models), but it would be nice if I actually knew where the bluetooth headers were on the motherboard.

Does anyone know where I can get any guides or service manuals for the motherboard in this laptop?

Ta muchly for any help :)

Apologies for bringing up an old topic (it can go back to the bottom of the list after this, if needs be ..) but I wanted to save people a huge amount of effort looking through this document looking for it ..

I could not find anything to do with the internal hardware (more specifically, an internal bluetooth module) though I am more than willing to be corrected ..

    Regards,
    Kwah

Bluetooth headers are located on the uderside of the mainboard on the botton right as you look at it as if it was in the machine. Requires a complete stripdown to get it put in and is a little fiddly. To be honest it would be easier just to buy a bluetooth dongle
