I am new to this forum and surprised and pleased to find it "brand" specific. A nice lady called me and wanted to have her new (first) notebook set up along with a wireless router. No sweat there, but her only complaint is that the touchpad is too sensitive for her.

It is a Acer Aspire 5315-2153 and the first Acer I have worked with. My question for all you guys and gurls is: how do you adjust touchpad pressure on this one? Is it possible? I have been in Mouse/Touchpad Properties and don't see any options for pressure/sensitivity/??

So what's up with that? Thanx in advance. JR

to my knowledge there is no way to change sensitivity with the current driver the 5315 comes with,,,, however i have heard rumors of other "OLDER" drivers that do have sensitivity settings but i'm not sure if anyone has tried those drivers on this model....

sorry i don't know which drivers those are, but you could try searching for

    acer touchpad sensitivity settings

at the top of the page,
