    can i install xp on a acer aspire 5315 laptop

    Have a look here on how to install XP....
    Download the drivers from the driver's manufacturer site....(reference from here)

    all XP drivers are also at that first link above... (the soulpass site... thanks to ALEX) that will get you up and running

    Also there is a lot of GREAT INFO HERE

    after you get XP up and running message us back... i have newer drivers links....

    but it's best to follow that guide at soulpass.com to get everything working

    BTW UPDATE THE BIOS to 1.43 from this site

    after installing XP...

    BESURE TO INSTALL THE AUDIO DRIVER FIRST....


    AND DO NOT CHANGE THE HDD TRANFER MODE TO IDE in the BIOS... make the CD like the site describes... and leave the HDD TRANSFER METHOD set to AHCI.... or SATA...


    it's under VISTA BIOS... but all VISTA COMPATIBLE BIOS FILES ARE XP COMPATIBLE!!!
