    Hi,

i have got the 5101 AWLMI Notebook. So far i like that notebook.

But if i send the notebook to "suspend to disk" before i go sleeping sometimes it will start in the middle of the night (12 pm - 1 am) run a while (5min) and go back to "suspend to disk".
I searched for planed tasks and in the bios for a wake up time but nothing.
It is very anoying because i am sleeping in the same room with the notebook.
Does anybody have the same problem? Does anybody have a solution?

    Best greetings

    Tom

A few years ago i used to have a problem like this with my desktop machine and I did have a problem with a ghost (not a joke), named Maria. Other strange stuff would happen, including sometimes waking up in the middle of the night when i hear her calling my name. Nothing to be afraid of, they don't hurt you just annoy you. But I learned how to make her go away. HAve't had that problem since.

BUt, it is more than likely that this has something to do with your hibernate or standby settings in ePower management.

there is no problem ... actually what you laptop does is to switch from Suspend to Hibernate mode.

I`ve wrote a small application (for personal use) to put the laptop directly in hibernate mode.
