At laptop just bought, i had 3.1 as Aero performance index. I downloaded the most recent drivers for the GMA 950 from Intel (7.14.10.1329) and... surprise surprise... the index lowered to 2.5 ! Same with the drivers downloadable from Acer site, the index varies from 2.3 to 2.5 .
What happened ? There is a way to have again an Aero performance index over 3 ?

No offense but Windows Experience Index Score is useless :)

If you want to bench your laptop against others then use these programs(dont download 3dmarks since if for deticated GPUs)

If you want to increase your WEI score, then "hack" it

Thanks, anyway i am not concerned about cpu speed, just i wished to know why changing vga drivers downgraded the Aero performance. Btw it seems that with an Aero index < than 3, Aero doesnt run.
