    Hello.
From time to time when I'm turning on my notebook, after the acer logo is displayed, notebook halts and dispalay message: No operating system found. After one or two reboots it starts normally. Anybody had something like that?

trying doing a system restore.. back everything up on a seperate partition and see if the problem still persists.. if it does.. it may be a hardware issue..

Sounds like hard drive getting ready to go. I experienced similar symptoms with a hard drive that died. Could try running some hard drive diagnostics

I disabled quiet boot, and now I can see that when computer says that operation system was not found, the HDD is not found by BIOS. I tried taking out and puting in the disk, but it's no help. Maybe somebody had similar problems, I don't want to send computer to service for two weeks :(.

call in and arrange a delivery for the hard drive.. tell them you're hard drive is failing constantly.. and you can't afford your valuable information to be lost.. and that you can't afford to not have you're computer for a week because of work and such.. and maybe they'll send you the hard drive..
