    My backup DVD contain Acer tools, but it installs with XP only, I see on DVD -IMAGES- only and now I´ve got Vista Ultimate RC - where i can get this tools installer??

    why would you want Acer Tools? any additional tools usually hog up system resources and slow your computer down. Vista is stable enough to go without them...

    Note that Vista will actually eat up battery life much faster than XP (unless you go for Basic).

    Hmm. i run a dual os boot and so far i dun really see any differences in batt usage on xp and vista .
    running xp sp2 and vista rc1
