    Newegg.com - Acer Aspire One AO722-BZ454 Espresso Black AMD Dual-Core Processor C-50 (1.00GHz) 11.6" 2GB Memory 250GB HDD Netbook

I've found this as an alternative to the HP dm1z.

I have had HP in the past and know they have some pretty decent quality.

I was just wondering if anyone could give commentary on this particular model, if the keyboard has bad flex, or if the reflective screen is better/worse than other glossy models.

(I don't know much about glossy screens but, i've heard some can be far worse than others).

    Thanks.

I must admit reading the keyboard is spongy makes me a little more tempted to shell out for the HP dm1z since I found a refurb right at 400$ if possible..

I'm not pleased with netbook keyboards in general- make sure that HP is any better.
Another thing I don't like about 722 is 1280x720 glossy LCD- who came up with this idea? Not only a glossy screen but also with an astonishing vertical resolution of 720 pixels. I wouldn't be able to work on this netbook.

I personally want to kill whoever started the trend of laptop screens being mirrors...

I mean.. sure in theory if you don't need a laptop a glossy screen works fine.. you can just adjust where your at endlessly.

But, if you need a laptop and your stuck in one position unable to adjust or anything.. it tends to become a mirror..
