    Once there was a very useful thread helping ppl installing W7 Ultimate, now is there such a guide for Windows 8 pro?

    Acer seems to have released some drivers that are (better) compatible with Windows 8 on their website for several models. Check it out. If you're paranoid, use ghost/acronis/what have you to make a hard disk backup so you can restore it if you find issues when you install Windows 8.
