I bought an Acer 5003 Aspire a week ago. Haven't had any problems until today when the battery reached 0%. So i plugged in the charger to charge the battery but now the computer won't turn on. All I hear is the fan going on from time to time. The Power led is on, and the battery charging led is also on, but the screen remains blank. I've read the manual but to no avail. The power button doesn't do anything either, of course.

Part B: I took the battery out and restarted it and now it is booting up normally. What should I do now ?

    thanks.

put the battery back in, if u have the same problem u'll know ur problem ^^

I had that problem once with an older acer notebook. that thing wouldn't turn on anymore. so I removed the battery, waited a few seconds, and I've put the battery back in. and yeah everything was fine again :)
