    Compare the travelmate 4501WLMi to the aspire 2023WLMi!! Is the 2023 worth the extra buck?? For everyday use, play and work, using open GL??[ :)]

    I think the price difference is because of aluminum casing for 2023(?) model. 2023 also has Arcade software and bigger HD (in USA).
    On the other hand. TM series has modular design. Difference in Video RAM does not make big sence even in games. Besides TM by definition has more stronger protection from vibration, for example (I do not how though). HD can be replaced for a bigger and faster one for only extra $60-100. Anyway final price will be lower for TM4501.
    My conclusion TM4501 is better to buy "For everyday use, play and work".
