    I need some advice on annoying 'gadgets and pop-ups' on my new 5100. I need to know what to uncheck in the start up MSCONFIG...I get this tiny annoying advertisng pop up for the Acer Ferrari note book in the upper left hand corner....the 'gadget thingy I do not need...I wish to trim down my start up as much as possible.

    I went to Tasklist.org and I had no luck...maybe Vista is still too new.

    any links or help I would appreciate, thanks
