If am looking for an additional power adapter for my laptop (5942G) Which do I need. Acer shop not listing my laptop yet . . .
It is a 90W 19V 4.74v one with a variety of reference numbers that I cannot match on the web and a light blue plug insert.

Any ideas what the blue insert signifies ? Do all the 90W types fit everything ?

    Thanks

It signifies nothing at all. I have the same type of PSU on Aspire 5740G blue insert too).
I had identical PSUs (19V 4,74A the same insert- different colors though) on Aspire 5020, Aspire 6920G and even an ancient Uniwill notebook back from 2003.
So to put it simple- any 90W 19V 4.74A PSU marked on ebay as compatible with Acer would work fine.
