    Acer in-built mic too quiet

    My in-built microphone on my Acer 5750G is too quiet only when my earphone is plugged in. But when I take the earphone out its normal and people could hear me properly.

    Any suggestions ?

    Some versions of Realtek HD Audio Manger, which is your sound driver controls the various sound levels by its own when you plug your earphone in. I think this goes down by default. What I would do at this point is to plug my earphone in and see if I can find the 'volume control' or 'microphone gain' under settings. (Control panel -> Realtek HD audio manager -> micrphone)

    Tell me if this does help or not.

    i put the 'microphone boost' to the highest and still too quiet :(
