    Hi mates,
I recently bought an acer 5102 notebook with windows xp home. I changed to windows xp pro and I have installed all the drivers I found in http://www.acerpanam.com/synapse/fo....com&siteid=7117&areaid=2&formid=3394#results .
For some reason there is a conflict between acer eRecovery Managment and AcerEMpoweAcerEMpowering_v2.3.2015. When AcerEMpowering_v2.3.2015 is installed, Acer eRecovery Managment crashes. Otherwise it works perfect. Why is this happening ???

What sort of conflict? Exactly what messages are appearing?

I note that you have installed XP Pro on the laptop. If you didn't keep the original partitions then eRecovery will not work. I initially dumped my D partition in favour of a larger C partition, however I reinstated it after discovering that without D eRecovery Management will not work.
