I have copied a Windows 7 instalation DVD to a USB memory and trying to boot from it,I can see the memorys name in the boot menu but when I try to boot all I get is a black screen nothing more..

That laptop is too old, the newer laptops can boot off of USB. You need to use optical media.

Hmm to bad...I thought it should work as the USB option was in the bootmenu.

wait...you copied the dvd? Try this: Microsoft Store: Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool Help
-
You just need to enable boot menu in bios and access it via F12. -
