I am trying to purchase my first notebook computer. I have come across the Acer as5580 for under $750.00 CDN. The specs look good for the price C2D 5500, Nvidia 7300, Bluetooth, Tracking Cam, 14.1" screen. Most other notebooks I have seen are mainstream 15.4" - 14.1" with CoreDou's and Integrated Graphics ie: GMA 950, X3100, GO 6150, 7150, X1100, 1200 ect. The prices for these are between $800 - $1100. What are the Acer as5580 - 6974's vista scores? If someone could post these it would be helpful in comparing this Notebook to others I have seen. I know the graphics card is lowend but at least it is a dedicated card and much superior to the integrated offerings. It is hard to decide on a new notebook because paying $1500.00 is out of my price range and paying $800.00 for a good processor crippled by lousy graphics sucks too.

Thank You to anyone who reply's. The Vista scores for this notebook would help me.

Sorry I don't have the vista scores for you, but if you need advice on other laptops to compare, read the sticky: finding the right notebook and posting the FAQ. Hope this helps.
