    Acer ZA3 netbook problems

    I bought an acer ZA3. The only changes I made were I removed Mccafee recplaced with AVG and installed Firefox. The problem is is locks up when my grandaughter (who I bought it for) uses the built in games (cake time or something like that) or plays some web based dress up game. Even CTRL ALT DEL would not bring up the task manager. Did I just get a bad one or should I consider a different one??

    It could be a graphics driver problem. The 751h isn't the most reliable netbook. If you bought it for the size and high resolution screen you might consider returning it and get a 1410/1810t instead. It looks very similar(it's based on the same chassis as the ZA3), but it's much more future proof because of its spiced up innards. It's slightly more expensive though.

    I did but it for the size of the screen and there was a limited selection available at the store. I don't really want to solve the problem on a brand new computer and will return it to the store. I am just wondering what to get in replace it. I want to get one of the inexpensive netbooks for my granddaughter. Any ideas?

    1410 is four times the computer a 751 is.
