I'm considering a purchase of an ex lease 8200 , havent been able to view, but there are a 10 to choose from. Most of the laptops have a a description of "some white spots" "dark spots" or "major dark spots"......is this a common problem with the 8200...what causes this...could it be cause by pressure on the panel, say by stacking them one on top of the other in preparation for sale?...any ideas would be appreciated....the price is appealing but I dont want to buy one if the spots are annoying or willget worse.

    My honest opinion:

Second hand PC's are fine. Second hand lappies are a no go.

Lappies are subjected to all kinds of external stuff you wont see on a PC.

And a brand new lappie comes with a warranty.

IMHO stay away from 2nd hand lappies.

Battery issues, driver issues etc. can make your life a nightmare.

    Leave alone.

    Cheers,
    Theo
