Just a quick question if anyone might be of assistance (any comments appreciated).

I just purchased this notebook and am very happy with it except for the audio on two fronts:

    1) the volume is extremely low on the headphones (yes everything is cranked up) for DVD playback and MS Mediaplayer.

    2) I have issues when using Messenger's voice chat... very choppy and, again, very low volume.

Any known software/hardware issues related to either of these.

I would think that I could get better sound from this thing than my PALM Tungsten E ???

Thanks in advance for oyur comments.

Well, you have what you pay for.
    Audio on 4002 SUX LARGE!
No way to work arround it. The codec is a piece of (you know what), a conexant one.
