Hi there. I hope someone will be able to help me here.

I have an Acer Timeline 4810tg with switchable graphics, both ATI Radeon 4330 and and Intel Graphics card.
With the original installation I was able to change graphic card by right clicking on the desktop and there was an option for this at the top. It also automatically switched when I unplugged the ac adaptor to save power.

Now I changed the harddrive to a Kingston SSD to gain some speed. I tried to reinstall windows and the original setup by using the backup discs I created when starting up the computer for the first time. This didn't wortk and windows crashed with a message about hardware changes. I guess it don't allow new hardware.

Then I tried to use another Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit disc. This went fine but I can't switch graphic cards now. I have tried installing both graphic drivers from Acer and also the Acer powersmart manager but no option to switch appears. I guess I lack some software that manages the switch.

Anyone have any ideas about how to solve this?

    Thanks in advance.
