My Acer S3 has been running really slow lately. Even Chrome is taking a long time to load and close pages. So I decided to reinstall non Acer copy of windows after formatting all the drives. This laptop has 500GB mechanical drive and 20GB SSD. In the disk management tool there are multiple partitions created in the aforementioned drives. It's kinda confusing.

At this point I'm really not worried about the recovery partition etc.. All I need to know is where do I install my windows? In 20GB SSD? or 500GB? Can I completely format both the drives and create partitions from the scratch during windows setup?

I read that 20GB ssd is only used for Intel Rapid Boot Technology. Is there a good reference page that provides details on how accomplish this? Thanks!

Oh, I've also attached a picture of current disk status/partitions
