This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hi folks :)
    Just been trying to sort out a slow shut down for a customer with a acer aspire 3020......

    Tried everything...reduced shutdown times...used the windows cleanup for slow shutdowns...nada!!

    Just told the customer to accept it how it is .....but I couldn't accept it.. ;)

    I looked at what I could remove and low and behold there was a program not needed Acer Grid System....

    Computer shuts down in a ......very quick anyway.... :) Just thought I'd share this one in case anyone missed it.....
