    The Ferrari one went on sale today in the UAE (Middle East) half page add in the local newspaper..

    Acer Ferrari One Laptop is positioned as a premium device, it is based on the latest AMD platform, code-named Congo, comprising a dual-core processor, Athlon X2 L310 CPU with a frequency of 1.2 GHz and a cache memory of the 1MB L2.

    Basic configuration of Acer Ferrari One netbook is 2GB RAM, but it can be expanded to 4GB, an ATI Radeon 3200 powerful graphics accelerator to support ATI XGP technology, with PCI Express 2.0 interface to connect an external graphics card.

    Acer Ferrari One premium netbook comes with 11.6-inch display with resolution 1366×768 pixels. The premium netbook is equipped with a 160GB hard drive, optional WWAN, as well as wireless modules; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The Acer Ferrari One has support GSM and UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA.

    weird thing is all I could find on the net were generic reviews, no real details and all quoting that it does not go on sale till OCT 22 - W- day....

    I'm back there tomorrow so Ill go have a look and see what the little beast can do :)

    Fuji also has such a port, interesting to see if it is "bundled" or one of those addons that are never in stock ... we will know more tomorrow ;)
