Almost all laptop BIOSes are locked down unless you have the right "tools" to unlock the advanced settings.

Usually service centres have methods of unlocking them in order to repair and diagnose. Personally, I've never done it but about 2 years ago I sent a laptop for repair and when it came back, the BIOS was fully unlocked and I could mess around with basically everything.

I believe virtualization is not supported on your system to begin with. Keep in mind that while some things are disabled in the BIOS/Firmware, others are more directly locked.

im sorry you re wrong ! 6200u is capable of intel virtualization!

Freedom is everything! Bios should NEVER be locked this way, this is just stupid.

i dont want anything that is not from this world, i just want the full capabilities of the laptop that i bought ! i do pay acer to solve problems not to create more. this software and this hardware they are mine, i paid for it so i do deserve to control fan speed, i do deserve to enable VT, ahci, and all norma stuff from bios.

i cant deal with this ****ty censor policy that they do use....and i ll tell you more...

when they do lock it, users go dumb and google for " bios mods " and end up killing their machines, and its all acer's fault....

They need to stop it and give me a way to set my laptop free, or else ill be buying other brands like MSI to reach files and services i want...
