    Hey all, the Aspire 9423 comes with a 17" Crystalbrite and Windows Vista;
    I've noticed the colors to be washed out and "off" by quite a bit compared to various other LCD/CRT displays. Anybody have experience color calibrating their laptop screen, and how you did this?

    Thanks in advance for your help!

    Go to ATI Catalyst Control Center, and there are options to adjust.

    In my case it looked a bit washed out with a green tinge. I decreased the intensity of the green channel by one step (.25?).

    Interestingly I noticed the difference because the notebook I got for my mother, a 3050, had better contrast and colours, so I put them side by side while adjusting the 5050.

    9423 has NVIDIA 7300 GO, can't find color profile in their limited option panels :/
